Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Post Graduate(M.sc) with Wireless Communication/ Electronics/ Radio Physics/ Radio Engineering / Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ AIME also can apply.
Mode of Selection :
Selection will be made through Engineering Services Examination,2018, to be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission . The examination will be held on 7th January, 2018 at the following centers in Eastern India: Kolkata, Gangtok, Cuttack, Patna, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Agartala, Jorhat & Dispur. The Written Examination will comprise of 2 stages:
Stage I : (Preliminary) will consist of multiple choice objective type questions based on the follwing 2 papers .view Syllabus click to our syllabus tab.
Stage II: (Main Examination) will consist of 2 papers comprising conventional type questions.
There shall be negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer in question paper comprising multiple choice objective type.
Qualified candidates will be called for personality Test carrying 200 marks. Candidates will have to download the Admit card from this website at the before time of examination.
How to Apply:
Candidates will have to apply on line through this website: www.upsconline.nic.in within 23.10.2017. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID, which shall be kept during this recruitment process. Before applying online, candidates will have to go trough the detailed recruitment notification , available on the website. After that , candidates will be required to fill in the online application form containing 2 stage viz .There , candidates will have to pay Rs 200/- either through any branches of the State Bank of India by cash OR by using Net Banking Facility of State Bank of India OR by using VISA or Master's Credit/ Debit Card within 22.10.2017.No application fee is required for Female/ SC/ ST/ Physically Challenged candidates . After that, candidates are required to obtain the print out of the computerized system generated application form , which must be retained for future purpose.
Age Limit : -
Candidate age should be between 21 and 30 years as ion 01.08.2018 that means candidates should be born between 0.08.1998 and 01.08.1997. OBC/SC/ST candidates will get relaxation in age by 3 and 5 years respectively . Ex Servicemen and Physically challenged candidates will get exemption in age as per the govt rules.
